The MXR Octavio is one of those pedals that doesn't do subtle. Made famous by Jimi Hendrix, it combines a ferocious fuzz with an octave-up effect to create the sort of searing, screaming lead tones that practically leap out of the speaker.
Simple, gloriously unruly and endlessly fun, the Octavio rewards players who aren't afraid to get a little weird. Whether you're chasing classic psychedelic sounds or just want a fuzz that stands out from the crowd, this compact stompbox absolutely delivers.
