The Meris Enzo is one of those pedals that's genuinely difficult to describe to someone who's never played one.
Calling it a synth pedal feels a bit too simple, because it's really more of a complete guitar-to-something-completely-else machine.
The Enzo can transform your guitar into everything from vintage analogue synths and soaring lead voices to strange ambient textures, sub-octave drones and sounds that seem to have arrived from another planet entirely.
It's also one of those rare pedals that rewards curiosity. Every time you think you've worked out what it does, you stumble across another sound that shouldn't really be coming from a guitar at all.
Brilliant, baffling, inspiring and occasionally completely ridiculous in the best possible way.
