The JH-1 Jackhammer gives you both Overdrive and Distortion modes, with plenty of gain and a surprisingly deep set of controls for shaping the sound. Bass, treble, gain and volume are joined by Marshall's rather clever Contour and Contour Frequency controls, letting you decide exactly where you're scooping the mids.
It's a chunky little box of Marshall-ness, capable of everything from classic crunch and open overdrive through to much heavier, saturated tones.
