The EarthQuaker Devices Hoof has become something of a modern fuzz legend, and for good reason. Loosely based on the much-loved Green Russian fuzz circuit, it delivers huge walls of sustain, rich harmonics and enough low-end heft to make your amp wonder what just happened.
What makes the Hoof special is its versatility. It can do the thick, woolly fuzz tones you'd expect, but thanks to its clever EQ controls, it can also cut through a mix far better than many traditional fuzz pedals.
