The EarthQuaker Devices Fuzz Master General is not a pedal for the faint of heart. Based on the vintage Ace Tone Fuzz Master circuit, it serves up the kind of snarling octave fuzz tones that sound like they're actively trying to escape the enclosure.
From thick, woolly fuzz to wild octave-up chaos, there's an incredible amount of character on tap here. The Voice switch lets you choose between different clipping flavours, meaning it can go from loose and ragged to tight and aggressive in just a flick of a switch.
