The Danelectro Back Talk is one of those pedals that makes you stop playing riffs and start making noises. Originally introduced in 1999 and now something of a cult classic, it takes what you've just played and throws it back at you in reverse, creating wonderfully strange, tape-like textures that are unlike anything else on your board.
From subtle backwards ambience to full-on psychedelic weirdness, the Back Talk is equal parts inspiring and addictive. There's a reason the originals became so sought after over the years.
A gloriously odd pedal that rewards experimentation and reminds us that guitar effects are supposed to be fun.
