The Boss ME-70 is from that sweet spot in time where multi-effects were clever enough to do almost everything, but sensible enough to give every section its own knob.
Overdrive, modulation, delay, reverb, wah, compression, pitch shifting and plenty more are all there, laid out like a pedalboard rather than a computer. Want more delay? Turn the delay knob. Revolutionary stuff.
Now, we're not saying the modern menu-heavy stuff isn't brilliant. A lot of it is. But there's something refreshing about being able to glance down, twist a knob and crack on.
