The 1981 Inventions DRV 2 has become something of a modern classic, and it's easy to see why. Inspired by the punch and attitude of a RAT-style circuit but refined into something remarkably articulate, the DRV 2 delivers everything from edge-of-breakup grit to rich, harmonically detailed distortion.
What really sets it apart is its clarity and responsiveness. Pick lightly and it cleans up beautifully; dig in and it pushes back with authority. Whether it's being used as an always-on drive, a boost into an already cooking amp or the main source of gain on your board, the DRV 2 simply makes everything sound better.
A deserved favourite among players looking for premium drive tones without unnecessary fuss. Comes complete with the original box and case candy.
