This 1977 Gibson SG has been played, gigged and properly used, and thankfully, nobody has tried to hide it.
The finish has mellowed beautifully, the wood has seasoned, and the whole guitar has that unmistakable character you only get from an instrument with decades of playing behind it.
It has seen a few changes along the way, too. The bridge pickup has been replaced at some point in its life, and the original Gibson tremolo has been removed in favour of a stop tailpiece. So it’s not pretending to be a museum piece. It’s a working musician’s SG that’s evolved with its owners.
And honestly? We like that.
