The NUX Damp packs three classic reverb sounds into a compact pedal.
Three controls for Decay, Level and Tone make it easy to dial in your sound, whether you’re after just a hint of depth or a reverb trail that seems to go on forever.
There’s a clever trick with the footswitch, too. Hold it down to access an extra effect. Holding the switch down in plate mode gives an octave-up shimmer to your sound, whilst in hall and spring mode you get a freeze effect letting you hold a sound in place and play over the top of it.
With selectable true or buffered bypass, switchable mono or stereo output, and a compact metal enclosure, the Damp offers plenty of flexibility without overcomplicating things.
Once again, we’re blown away by what NUX has managed to fit into a pedal at this price. Three useful reverb types, extra effects and plenty of room for experimentation.
